10-Year-Old ‘Donut Boy’ Comes to Maine to Thank Police Officers
For two years Tyler Carach, now 10, has been traveling across the country handing out donuts to Police Officers.
WGME.com shared this story of how he has been to 41 states so far. This past Thursday he made a stop at the Brunswick Police Department. Members from Brunswick, Cumberland and Sagadahoc Counties showed up to meet "Donut Boy" as he's known, and eat some sweet treats.
Tyler wears a cape and tee shirt with a donut on them and his catch phrase, " I donut need a reason to thank a cop."
So far Tyler has given out over 70,000 donuts to area law enforcement. Tyler wants to be a K9 officer when he grows up.
