Four UMaine Black Bears scored in double figures as the number one seed in America East moved into the semifinals with a 78-71 win over Binghamton.Maine never could pull away in this one as they took a slim 2 point lead into the locker room at halftime and scored just enough in the second half to advance. The Bears did manage to build a 13 point lead on three different occasions only to see the Bearcats claw their way back into the game.

Liz Wood posted her 17th double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Juniors Mikaela Gustafsson and Bella Swan had big games with 17 and 15 points respectively. Sigi Koizar was the other double digit scorer with 14 points to go along with 5 assists.

The Bears now face Hartford in the first semifinal at 1pm on Sunday. A win by Maine means they would host the America East Championship game at the Cross Center which is scheduled for Friday at 4:30pm.
