Woman Injured in Single Vehicle Accident Near Woodstock, N.B.

A Carleton County woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Bedell, on the outskirts of Woodstock. 

Woodstock Fire Chief Ricky Nicholson tells us the crash occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. on the Bedell Road.  A woman from the Bedell area somehow lost control of her car, went off the road and into a ditch, striking a utility pole.

RCMP and Ambulance NB also responded to the scene.  The Jaws of Life was not utilized, Nicholson said, but the Woodstock Fire Department assisted paramedics in removing the woman from the wreckage. She was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The RCMP is investigating the crash.
