Wet Snow May Pose Problems in Parts of Aroostook County on Friday

It could get a little slippery on the roads this morning as wet snow moves into Aroostook County.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory today from Houlton south to Millinocket with 2 to 4 inches of wet snow possible in that area. Forecasters say the heavy, wet snow may pose difficulty for drivers on untreated roads and could also snap tree branches and lead to power outages.

Other parts of Aroostook County may see some wet snow with very little accumulation before it changes to rain today.
