A major winter storm has been impacting Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick over the last 24-hours and will taper off later today, but in the meantime, there are several area delays, closings and cancellations to pass along.

Schools in Southern Aroostook County and the Anglophone West District are closed today.

The Multicultural Association of Carleton County offices are officially closed today due to the winter storm. They will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.

The RSU 29 (Houlton) grade 2 concert for this evening has been cancelled. Principal Crane is currently in the process of exploring rescheduling options. A new date and time will be posted once it has been decided.

The Houlton Rec Center will be closed today.

Woodstock Farm & Craft market is closed today due to the storm. They will re-open tomorrow.

Due to weather and subsequent road conditions Wintergreen Arts Center will be closed this morning and Toddle In Time cancelled. They will be opening at 2 p.m. this afternoon.

DFAS Center in Limestone will delay opening until 10:00 a.m.
USDA Service Center in P.I. will open at 10:00 a.m.
Southern Aroostook Pantry is closed today and will re-open Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Sherman Rec Department music jam is cancelled for tonight.
