Officials need your help hosting visitors who plan on attending Congrès Mondial Acadien 2014 and visiting the area between August 8th - 23rd, 2014.

Coming your way is a list of everyone in L'Acadie des terres et des forêts who is offering a place to crash.

Since the last Congrès Mondial Acadien the St. John Valley area has increased with hotel and motel rooms along with campgrounds and camps available for rent, but the number might not meet the needs of approximately 50,000 visitors.

St. John Valley residents who wish to host visitors are asked to download and fill out a form at or stop by the CMA 2014 Maine Regional Coordinating Committee office at 460 Main St., Madawaska, ME to pick up a form.

The CMA happens every 5 years in regions inhabited by Acadians and more than 50,000 visitors from all over the world have a major economic impact that can exceed $50 million.
