The RCMP on Thursday released surveillance video of a suspect in an armed robbery at a jewelry store in Kedgwick, New Brunswick, in hopes that someone may recognize him.

Police say a man walked in the Boutique Or-Déco, at 64 Notre-Dame Street at approximately 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.  He then left the scene with jewels valued at several thousand dollars, according to a press release from Sgt. Rhéo Michaud of the Saint-Quentin RCMP.

The suspect got into the backseat of a white, four-door sedan that had two people in the front seat.

The man is described as between 5’ 8” and 6' 0” tall. He is of average build, and spoke French, police say. He wore jeans and a black and grey or white plaid jacket or sweater with a hood.
