Workers from Emera Maine have had a busy day restoring power to several thousand customers following a messy storm that moved through the state overnight and today. Good progress was made in Hancock, Penobscot, Washington and Piscataquis counties earlier today, but there are still more than 2300 customers out in Aroostook county where significant snow has been falling all day. Crews will remain deployed through the evening and overnight making repairs and safely restoring power until all customers are back on line.
