Our country's current political battles might prevent, delay or move this year's State of the Union address, but they can't stop us from looking ahead to what promises to be an eventful year in rock music.

We've complied everything we know so far about the 2019 plans for more than four dozen of rock's biggest bands and artists into one concise snapshot of our current musical landscape. For several big names that means farewell tours, as Kiss join Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger and Ozzy Osbourne (though he's been wavering in recent interviews) on the "one last victory lap" circuit.

The Who, Sammy Hagar, Bruce Springsteen and Whitesnake are among the popular artists who have already revealed plans to release new albums in 2019, and we expect you can also look forward to major archival reissues from your favorite acts, especially as the holiday season rolls around.

You don't have to be a genius to predict 2019's biggest musical trend. Rock biopics will be in high demand following the $800 million (and counting) worldwide box-office success of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Motley Crue's The Dirt and Elton John's Rocketman are already lined up on the launching pad with confirmed 2019 release dates, and new movies about Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beatles aren't far behind. Motley Crue have also reunited in the studio, recording four new songs to go along with their upcoming movie.

Without further ado, here is your Rock State of the Union, 2019 edition.
