Woodstock Police say the tools were reported stolen from three different locations in the town in middle to late December.  The tools included power drills, air compressors, table saws, and other items.

An investigation by the Woodstock Police and the RCMP Integrated Crime Reduction Unit led to the identification of two suspects.  Julie Tara Giberson - also known as Tiara Giberson - and Jamie William Mihalik were arrested on Wednesday.    Both appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court on Thursday on charges of Possession of Stolen Property.

The accused were remanded into custody and will reappear in court on Monday, January 20 for a bail hearing.

Police have recovered approximately $10,000 worth of tools relating to the three thefts.  The investigation is continuing.
