A single-vehicle accident on Route 560 just north of Woodstock Sunday morning sent a man and two young children to the hospital.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 9 a.m. after a car went off the road in Jacksonville, New Brunswick and struck a utility pole.

Woodstock Fire Chief Ricky Nicholson said a man, his 4-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. The car, a smaller model Chevrolet, was a total loss.

Woodstock Fire, RCMP, and Ambulance NB were on scene Sunday morning. NB Power crews also responded to replace the utility pole, which was broken in the crash.
