Three Arrested in Connection with Air Gun Incidents in Moncton
Two Moncton men and a teenage boy from Riverview have been arrested following two incidents involving air guns firing pellets into vehicles. RCMP say no one was injured, but the vehicles sustained damage.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, Codiac RCMP responded to a report that a dark-coloured truck had approached a car with two women inside on Bonavista Court in Moncton. Police say several shots were fired at the car, breaking some of the windows. The truck immediately left the area.
A short time later, officers arrested two young men and a teenage boy in connection with the incident. Police also seized the truck, along with an air gun and a package of pellets.
The police investigation revealed another incident earlier the same evening with shots fired at a vehicle in the Moncton Coliseum parking lot. Investigators believe the same parties were involved.
A 20-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy will appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Friday afternoon.
