He said it was his dream to make the NBA all-star game, Sunday night the Celtics Isaiah Thomas fulfilled his dream when he stepped on the floor with the best players in the world.

Thomas and his East team lost to the West by a 196-173 score but Thomas talked after the game about how much fun he had and how much of an honor it was to be on the court with Kobe Bryant who was playing his final all-star game.

Thomas played 19 minutes and scored 9 points to go along with 3 rebounds. Russell Westbrook of the West scored a game high 31 points and was named the games Most Valuable Player.

The Celtics and Thomas will get a few more days off before the team gathers in Utah to resume the season on Friday. Boston will begin the final stretch of the regular season as the number three team in the Eastern Conference.
