In what might have been the last game at Boston Garden for Paul Pierce, the Boston Celtics gutted out a 139-134 overtime win over Pierce, Doc Rivers and the LA Clippers.

The C's head into the allstar break with eight straight home wins and an overall record of 32-25. The Celts are 10-3 on the second night of back-to-back games.

Isaiah Thomas had 36 points and 11 assists in this one as he battled LA's Chris Paul all night. Paul finished with 35 and 13.

Thomas hit a jumper late in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Then the Celtics out scored the Clippers 17-12 in OTT.

The stat sheet is filled with big numbers...Jared Sullinger had 21 points, 11 rebounds. Jae Crowder 19, Avery Bradley 18, Marcus Smart 17.

Along with Paul's numbers, the Clippers DeAndre Jordan had 21 points and 16 rebounds. J.J. Redick had 27.
