If you've been unable to get tickets to see Radiohead this year, you're in luck. Frontman Thom Yorke said that the band are planning to continue promoting A Moon Shaped Pool at some point in 2017.

“We’ll do some more shows next year," he said while co-hosting Benji B's slot on the BBC Radio 1 last night (Sept. 7), "but I don’t know exactly what yet.”

Radiohead have only a few dates left on their calendar, with the only U.S. shows being Sept. 30 and Oct. 7 at the Austin City Limits Festival, and the others are in Berlin this Sunday and Mexico City in the days between the Austin concerts. Other than that, his plans are unknown, although he is hoping to reconvene Atoms for Peace, his side project with Flea that was responsible for 2013's Amok, when their schedules allow.

However, one thing is for certain: Radiohead will not simply drop their next effort on the public little-to-no warning, as they did with In Rainbows, The King of Limbs and A Moon Shaped Pool, or stunts like releasing last year's solo album, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, via BitTorrent.

“Enough of that now," he said. "I’ve totally had enough of that. No more fuss, just put it out. I’m getting too old for that. It takes away from things a bit, and it’s sometimes frustrating. The energy of trying to do it differently and circumvent the monsters, you’re like…. whatever.”

Yorke also said that he's working on another project with Kieran Hebden of Four Tet and Burial. The three of them put out a single, "Ego" / "Mirror," in 2011.
