Third Significant November Snowstorm to Hit Northern Maine
For the third time this month a significant winter storm is approaching northern Maine.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of Aroostook County until late Tuesday night
Forecasters say heavy snow is possible during the day Tuesday, with accumulations of 4 to 8 inches expected by the time the storm winds down Tuesday night. Localized snowfall amounts of 9 to 12 inches are possible west of Route 11 and the Interstate 95 corridor.
Forecasters advise you to plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday. With gusty winds expected, we can expect reduced visibility throughout the day.
