Fort Kent's Austin Theriault scored an 8th place finish in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in three years.

Late Friday night in Las Vegas, Theriault drove the #30 On Point Motorsports truck to the top 10 finish in the team's second-ever race.

Grant Enfinger won the race in triple overtime as then had to have three re-starts to determine a winner after a night filled with big time wrecks.

Theriault and his On Point Motorsports team struggled in practice sessions on Thursday. There was no guarantee the team would get in to the race but did when Theriault drove the truck to a 21st place starting spot.

By the end of the night, he had the #30 Toyota truck up to 8th place.
