Tax Readiness Workshop for Self-Employed Being Offered
New Ventures Maine will offer a free tax planning workshop at the Presque Isle Career Center, 66 Spruce St, Presque Isle on Thursday, October 19 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.
This one session workshop will help you organize your financial records, understand your tax responsibilities, become familiar with various tax forms, and file your taxes with confidence.
Karin Petrin, Microenterprise Specialist for New Ventures Maine in Aroostook County and the trainer for the workshop, notes, “You’re busy. Every year you probably wait until the last minute to get your tax documents in order. This class will provide some great tools, methods, and explanations to help you get prepared for filing your taxes well in advance of April 15th.”
Although primarily designed for sole proprietors, men, women, couples, and other folks are welcome in the class.
