For the past few years, Toys R Us and Entertainment Earth have teamed up to offer a select number of Comic-Con exclusives to the public that couldn't make it to the show itself. This year, the two retailers are again teaming up for a series of varied toys and collectibles that would otherwise be unavailable to anyone outside of San Diego. Mixing things up with Hasbro, Funko, Playmates and more, this year's offerings bring a very diverse grouping that collectors will more than be happy to snap up from the comforts of their own homes.

Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender reboot has thus far formed a first look in bits and pieces, but the full details have finally assembled. Find out who’s in the cast, from Walking Dead to Arrow stars, when the new Voltron will premiere, and a host of other details!

For those of you who might not be familiar with it, Voltron is a giant robot made up of robot lions, probably best known for being compared to the Wu-Tang Clan on their classic debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). But --- and this might surprise you --- it seems that there was also a television series in the mid-80s, and now, it's set to be revived by Dreamworks Animation for a thirteen-episode Netflix Original. The series has been in development for a while and is scheduled for a release later this year, but if you can't wait, get to Anaheim for WonderCon tomorrow to see some new footage.

Early last month, we learned that Netflix had begun development of a new Voltron series under its renewed agreement with DreamWorks, and before any major details have emerged, we already have our first look at the new Legendary Defender series, accompanied by an official logo and glimpse of the new Voltron.

It seems Hollywood is on a cloning kick as they revisit and update existing franchises so they can introduce them to a new audience and ultimately make more coin.
