An incident that started Wednesday morning, and led to a Levant road closure by the afternoon, ultimately ended in an arrest by the evening, authorities say.
It all happened around 9 AM, when Penobscot County Sheriff's Deputies, and a Homeland Security Investigations team, executed a search warrant at a residence in town.
Then the red car turned toward the deputy. That's when the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says things went very wrong for the driver, and his passenger.
Officials are looking for more information about what they're calling a 'suspicious' vehicle that was parked near a Penobscot County school earlier this week.
