PORTLAND, Maine (AP) – The nurse who refused to be quarantined after treating Ebola patients in West Africa is leaving Maine.

Aroostook County -  Life is anything but boring these days for TAMC nurse Jessica Holmes.  Aside from her full-time job caring for patients at The County’s largest medical center, she is working hard to prepare two sled dog teams to compete in the upcoming Can-Am Crown Sled Dog Races in Fort Kent on February 28.

A temporary court order has been imposed for nurse Kaci Hickox in an attempt to enforce a quarantine after her return to Fort Kent from treating Ebola patients in West Africa.

A nurse from Fort Kent who treated Ebola patients in West Africa and has been under a voluntary in-home quarantine stepped outside her home Wednesday evening to voice her concerns about the state’s quarantine guidelines.

A nurse who is back in Fort Kent after after treating Ebola patients in West Africa says she's prepared to go to court if the state of Maine tries to keep her in quarantine.

A nurse with ties to Fort Kent was discharged from a New Jersey hospital and is on her way to Maine.

A nurse who had been treating Ebola victims in West Africa was traveling to Aroostook County.

According to CNN a female nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas has tested positive for Ebola. She is the second patient to have contracted the deadly disease on US soil.
