North Lakes Fire Department

Some grant money will be coming to Aroostook County to help purchase some new fire equipment. Chief Darren R. Woods stated that North Lakes Fire & Rescue has received notification of award of a FEMA Fire Grant.

A snowmobile was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon in the Northern Maine town of Sinclair.

Fire crews were called to a fire at a camp on Madawaska Lake Saturday night.
