The holidays are a time for giving and employees of the Machias Savings Bank Branch in Presque Isle have made giving back to their community a priority this year.

A Woodland teenager battling brain cancer will be getting his wish granted this weekend! According to Make-A-Wish Maine, 13-year-old Wish Kid Brant from the Aroostook County town of Woodland will be granted a room makeover on Saturday at his home on the Margison Road in Woodland.

Getting dunked, you say? Oh yeah! If you want to make a difference; give a dunk! That's right! An Aroostook County teenage girl got a big gift on Saturday! Make-A-Wish Maine stepped up to the plate and granted a Wish to a girl who have been battling kidney disease since 2011.
