Hope & Justice Project

A friendly lip syncing and dance competition will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 20th at the Caribou Performing Arts Center as a fundraiser for Hope & Justice Project.

Walk It Up, Presque Isle! is an annual walk to end abuse hosted by Hope & Justice Project.  The walk will take place at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 14th and will start and finish at the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library.

The Domestic Violence Awareness Month Committee at Hope & Justice Project is currently seeking businesses and groups willing to sponsor the organization’s October events for $100 by August 15, 2016.

Criminal Justice students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle devoted their spring semester to a service learning project aiding the women incarcerated at the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton.

The Hope & Justice Project is one of the many nonprofits that will be included on Bangor Savings Bank Foundation’s 2016 Community Matters More ballot for a chance to receive $5,000.

NorState Federal Credit Union has donated a year's worth of fees collected from their coin sorters in Madawaska and Presque Isle to the Hope & Justice Project.

A year of waiting on spare change was well worth the wait for one county organization. NorState Federal Credit Union donates 100% of the fees collected from the use of their coin sorters in Madawaska and Presque Isle locations to a local county organization that benefits the communities, people and members they serve.

The 2nd Annual Walk It Up, Presque Isle! is a light, lunch-time walk taking place on Friday, October 9th from 12-1pm, at the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library.

The 2nd Annual Talk It Up, Houlton! will take place on Monday, October 5th!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, but festivities begin early for Fort Kent. On Friday, September 18th, Hope and Justice Project will host the 4th Annual Chalk It Up, Fort Kent! This event will take place in the Sears parking lot at 1:00 p.m.
