D Day

The C-47 Warplane and her crew playing a key role in the 70th anniversary D-Day ceremonies in Normandy, France last week will return to the Presque Isle late Friday afternoon.

Presque Isle will be the first stop for a World War II era warplane making an historic Trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Europe to take part in a reenactment of D-Day 70 years later.
