The Click it or Ticket campaign is back again this year and it kicks off in Maine on Monday May 24th. State and local law enforcement will be patrolling for seatbelt violations.
Maine law enforcement will start a two-week campaign Monday, May 22 to beef up enforcement of Maine’s seat belt laws. The campaign is called Click It or Ticket.

Maine’s Bureau of Highway Safety, State Police and 54 other police departments are in the middle of a two week seat belt enforcement effort. The annual campaign centers around Memorial Day and will utilize federal highway safety funding to pay for overtime to allow officers to concentrate of seat belt
