Michael Winslow, star of the Police Academy series was one of the first to be recognized for his vocal effects and arguably one of the first official beat boxers that gained national attention. He's still around and judging from his appearance on a foreign talk show, he loves classic rock.

I've always been fascinated by people who can create beats with their mouth. It takes a good ear, a great sense of rhythm and timing, and a monstrous set of lungs. Oh and I'm sure there's a lot of spit in there somewhere too.
