The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it has been deemed suspicious by police because a blue Ford Escape SUV was seen in the area near the time of the fire.

Police are seeking to speak to the occupants of the SUV or anyone who may have information about the fire.

If something suspicious was seen around the home prior to the fire, witnesses are asked to contact the Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300.

Information can also be provided anonymously online through New Brunswick Crime Stoppers, by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by texting TIP212 + your message to ' CRIMES ' (274637).
