The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the Penobscot Federal Credit Union located at 98 Bridge Street in Enfield.

The robbery occurred around 8:15 a.m. Monday morning.

According to Det. Sgt. Andrew Whitehouse, Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigative Division, the suspect is described as a White Male between 5’07” and 5’08”.  Weighing between 185 and 200 lbs with dark hair.  He was last seen wearing Navy Blue hoodie, yellow surgical mask, dark blue jeans and light grayish sneakers.

The suspect walked into the Penobscot Federal Credit Union and after an interaction with the teller, left with an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect fled on foot, said Whitehouse.

The Penobscot Federal Credit Union is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Maine State Police and the FBI.
