Vaping is really nothing new, however, it is a relatively new trend in the U.S. and Canada. A new survey suggests that most Canadians don't want to see their youth vaping.

Vaping has been around since Ancient Egyptian times when they would heat up rocks and stones to vape herbs. The first Shisha, or Hookah as we may be more familiar, was first introduced to India thousands of years ago.

If you enjoy vaping today, then you can thank, in part, Joseph Robinson, who, in 1927, came up with the idea of what we now know as the e-cigarette. But it wasn't until 1963 that a man by the name of Herbert Gilbert made vaping popular with his 'smokeless cigarette.'

A recent survey, by the Angus Reid Institute and conducted nationally in Canada, shows that most Canadians are none too thrilled with the idea of young people vaping.

The study showed that regardless of adult Canadians own smoking habits, they showed a strong support for the government ban on the sales of all vaping products among youngsters under the age of 18.

Another interesting note about the survey was that 6 in 10 say enticing flavors like bubble gum and fruit should be restricted.
