In the past 24 hours, Sunday River Resort has amassed 23 inches of new snow. This total is in addition to the 24 inches of snow the resort has seen since the start of February.

As the industry saying goes: Any day that you can measure new snow in feet is a good day,” Nick Lambert, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sunday River Resort, says.

One hundred percent open across all eight of its interconnected peaks, Sunday River spokesperson Darcy Lambert says, “You couldn’t ask for a better Valentine. Save the dozen roses and go skiing instead—those memories will last longer.”

Skiers and snowboarders planning their next trip should pre-purchase lift tickets online and in advance so to save up to 30 percent on window rates. This tactic includes New Hampshire residents preparing to take advantage of tomorrow’s New Hampshire State Day at Sunday River, and Maine residents planning on Wednesday’s Maine Day at Sunday River. In both cases, lift tickets are only $49 when pre-purchased online, at least one day in advance, with a respective state ID.
