Summerville Man Arrested in Alleged Marijuana Grow Operation
Police have arrested one man following a drug seizure at a residence in Summerville, New Brunswick.
Southeast District RCMP executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home on Route 845, according to Cpl. Tom White. During the search, police say they seized 124 marijuana plants as well as equipment used in the production of marijuana.
The amount of marijuana seized could have produced upwards of 62,000 joints, White said.
A 25-year-old Summerville man was arrested and later released on a promise to appear in Saint John Provincial Court on July 21.
The RCMP said the investigation is ongoing.
