Kid Rock certainly raised a few eyebrows and ruffled some feathers when he revealed he was selling some pro-Donald Trump merchandise via his webstore, some of it being rather NSFW. Rock was just named as one of the headliners for the 2017 Northern Invasion festival, and Sumerian Records, who are the label home for Bad Omens, one of the bands on the bill, decided to voice their displeasure with Rock's recent t-shirt venture.

The label used their Instagram account to share their message, first speaking of their excitement of having Bad Omens on Northern Invasion, but then reminding fans that Kid Rock was selling the merchandise. "This is the epitome of closed-minded bulls--t that is the opposite of rock and roll and everything our music stands against," says the label. They add that the type of message spread by the Rock shirts "should not be tolerated," and suggests that Rock should be playing shows with Ted Nugent rather than sharing stages with Soundgarden and Opeth. You can see the full post below.

It is likely that Rock was booked for Northern Invasion before he began selling the merchandise, but as stated, his merchandise definitely has upset some.

In addition to Rock and fellow headliners Soundgarden, the Northern Invasion festival features such acts as Godsmack, the Offspring, Bush, Papa Roach, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless, Amon Amarth and more. The festival is set for May 13 and 14 at the Somerset Amphitheatre in Somerset, Wis. For additional festival details, click here.
