A Springfield, Massachusetts man has been convicted in Maine with possession and with the intent to distribute a kilogram or more of heroin.

According to court reports, 54-year old Myron Crosby, Jr., aka "Templer" was convicted Thursday following a four-day jury trial in U.S. District Court.

Evidence at the trial was established that between August 2015 and January 2016, Crosby, Jr. supplied between 60,000 and 80,000 bags of heroin, which is more than a kilogram, from his operation in Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Mass to people in Newport, Maine.

After receiving the drugs from Crosby, Jr.'s operation, his co-conspirators in Maine would then distribute the drugs in the Newport area, according to the report.
