Ryan Spooner scored once in regulation and once in the shootout to help the Boston Bruins beat the Buffalo Sabres 3-2.

The B's were in some trouble when they got down 2-0 in the second period. That's when Spooner scored his first goal. Brad Marchand got the game-tying early in the third. Then no scoring until the shotout.

Tuukka Rask stopped every Buffalo shot in the shootout, Spooner scored one and the Bruins got out of Buffalo with two points in the standing.

The B's are 27-18-6, good for 60 points in the standings. That puts them in a tie for second place in their division.
