The Boston Bruins solidify their hold on a playoff spot with a 3-2 win Saturday night over the New Jersey Devils. Ryan Spooner scored the game winner midway through the third period.

The victory puts the B's at 34-25-6, good for 74 points in the standings. That's four points ahead of Toronto for 3rd place in their division.

Two defenseman, Tory Krug and Brandon Carlo, scored first period goals.

The game winner came on a great pass was newly acquired Drew Stafford to Spooner in the third period.

Anton Khudobin was in goal for the Bruins and made 15 saves.
