The Boston Red Sox had the tying run on second base in the ninth inning, but Marco Gonzalez struck out to end the game with a 5-4 score against the Toronto Blue Jays

The Sox rallied with four runs in the final two innings after being no-hit by Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada through the first seven frames.  Roberto Osuna came into the game in relief after Estrada allowed the first hitter he saw in the ninth to reach base and proceeded to allow four hits and two runs before recording the final out.

Chris Young was the standout offensive performer for the Sox with two hits and a home run that broke up the no-hitter in the eighth.  David Ortiz, Hanley Ramirez, and Jackie Bradley Jr all also added a RBI in the game.

Eduardo Rodriguez received the loss, going 5.2 innings pitched with five earned runs allowed.  He also gave up four home runs in the outing.

Boston will now hop on a plane destined for the West Coast to play the San Francisco Giants for a two game series starting on Tuesday night.
