The Red Sox made it official shortly after yesterday's game with Seattle - Cuban outfielder Rusney Castillo is signed to a seven year deal. The Sox aren't saying how much money but baseball sources say it is a $72-million-dollar deal.

Castillo is 27-years-old and now needs a work visa to begin workouts with the team at the training facility in Ft.Myers, Florida. GM Ben Cherington says the plan is to have him play some major league games in September. His position will be centerfield.
