The guy filling in for the suspended Rougned Odor of the Texas Rangers is 2008 Senior League World Series grad Jurickson Profar...and he's filling in nicely so far.

Odor is serving a seven game suspension for his face punch to Toronto's Jose Bautista.

Profar, who played for Curacao in 2008 at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor as a 16-year-old at the SLWS. He once was MLB's top young prospect but shoulder injuries have cost him the last two baseball seasons.

He is healthy now and batting .367 with a home run in six games filling in at second base for the Texas Rangers as Odor serves his suspension.

Also on that 2008 SLWS Curacao team was current Baltimore Orioles 2nd baseball Jonathan Schoop. Curacao lost to New Jersey in the championship game that year.
