The legalization of marijuana sales is drawing nigh in the state of Maine but, legislators have been trying to figure out how best to tax pot in the state.

In November of 2016, voters in the state of Maine approved the legalization of recreational marijuana.

It seems that we just can't have anything recreational, without the Maine Legislators wanting to put a tax on it. And in some instances, a big tax on it.

There has been talking in Augusta about raising the tax on recreational marijuana from 5-percent sales tax to 10-percent sales tax.

We want to know what you think about this!

Please take a moment and share your thoughts in the poll below and tell us what you think about the Maine Legislators possibly raising the pot tax from 5-percent to 10-percent.
