In Mars Hill Wednesday night the Central Aroostook Panthers and Madawaska Owls faced off for the third time this season in the preliminary round of Class C boys basketball. The Panthers took the two regular season matchups and are the #3 seed in Class C.

It was Central Aroostook taking the game by a score of 72 to 44. They will move onto the quarterfinals in Bangor on Tuesday when they will play the Fort Kent Warriors. . The Panthers were led by Brayden Bradbury with 21 points and Colby Kingsbury with 16 points.

For the Owls they finish the season at 11-8. Madawaska was paced in scoring by Tristan Cyr with 21 points.

The Cushman and Sons Player of the Game was Brayden Bradbury and Colby Kingsbury.
