Thursday in Mars Hill, the Central Aroostook Panthers hosted the Houlton Shiretowners in a Class C Boys matchup. This was the first game back in Mars Hill for Houlton coach Tim Brewer, who coached the Panthers for 15 years capturing 4 state titles.

This game went to the Shires by a score of 68 to 30. Houlton had a balanced attack led by Cam Cleary with 14 points. Keegan Gentle added 11 points and Nick Brewer also had double figures with his 10 points. The Shires move to 10-3 and await a date with the Stearns Minutemen next week.

The Panthers were led by Brayden Bradbury’s 12 points. Central Aroostook falls to 12-4 on the season and will play Madawaska on February 2nd.

The Cushman and Son’s Player of the Game was Cam Cleary.
