Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska Man Charged In Connection With Firearms Incident
A man from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, N.B., has been charged in connection with an incident during which he allegedly pointed a firearm at other individuals.
Members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP responded to the incident in the late evening hours on August 20, 2016. The man was arrested at a residence in the community several hours after the incident.
Thirty-four-year-old Michael Byram appeared in Edmundston Provincial Court on August 22 and has been charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm without a licence, unsafe storage of a firearm, uttering threats, and assault.
He was released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court on September 26 at 9:30 a.m. to enter a plea.
