Seniors Achieving Greater Education (SAGE),  will host its spring kick-off event at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 9 in the Campus Center.

 

SAGE is a program that welcomes intellectually curious adults, age 50 and older, who have a desire to learn in the company of people with both shared and different perspectives.

Membership in SAGE is $22 per semester or $42 for the year.  There are additional fees for field trips and some hands-on courses.  Coffee will be served starting at 9:30 a.m.

Some of the courses offered are: Memory Art: Create a Keepsake Box, Games, Games, and More Games!, Introduction to Conversational French, Senior Water Fitness, Learning to Read Music, Trash to Fashion Show: Create Your Entry, and Meet Your Ancestors. There are also a number of one-day classes.

There will be a tour of a goat farm in Woodland, a tour of Wind Angel Garlic Farm in Oakfield, and a trip to McAdam Railway Station in McAdam, New Brunswick (passport required), along with other Outing Club plans.
