Rollover Motor Vehicle Accident in Monticello

A motor vehicle accident was reported around 6:30 a.m. Monday near the Monticello - Littleton town line.

A single vehicle was involved in the accident on Route 1, just south of the Blue Moose Restaurant.

The car somehow managed to go off the road, down an embankment and flip on to its roof.

Several Good Samaritans stopped to help. The vehicle occupants made it out of the car safely, but it is not known at this time if they were injured.

Members of Crown Ambulance, Monticello Fire Department and Maine State Police responded to the scene.
