Fresh off a home two game sweep of UMass, the Maine Black Bears are in Vermont this weekend for a series against the nationally ranked Catamounts.

The USCHO weekly poll has Vermont at #14 in the nation. Hockey East has six teams ranked in the top-15 in the national poll.

The Catamounts are 4-1-1 overall (2-1-1 in HE). They are coming off a win and a tie at Notre Dame last weekend.

The Bears go on the road for the first time in Hockey East and for the first time since the season opening trip to Alaska.

The weekend set starts a big part of Maine's Hockey East schedule. After the series in Burlington, the Bears play BU in a home and home set. Then two games at BC followed by two games with Vermont again.
