[UPDATED] The West District RCMP have identified the person of interest as part of an investigation into the use of stolen credit cards.

In February and March 2018, the RCMP received several reports of purchases made with stolen credit cards at businesses in the Perth-Andover and Florenceville-Bristol areas.

The Woodstock RCMP detachment released a photo of a person of interest on April 16, 2018, in a news release.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.

The investigation is continuing.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Woodstock detachment of the West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest as part of an investigation into the use of stolen credit cards.

In February and March 2018, the RCMP received several reports of purchases made with stolen credit cards at businesses in the Perth-Andover and Florenceville-Bristol areas.

Police are seeking to identify a man observed in security footage in some of the businesses. He is described as approximately 25-30 years of age with a slim build, dark hair and facial hair and brown eyes.
