RCMP Investigating Two Cases of Arson at Camps In Northern New Brunswick
The Campbellton RCMP is seeking assistance from the public to help solve two cases of arson that involved the same cottage property along the Restigouche River in Flatlands, New Brunswick.
RCMP says The first incident took place last summer, on July 15, 2015, when the main cottage on the property burned to the ground. The investigation determined that the fire had been deliberately set.
The second incident occurred this summer, June 23, 2016, when a boat house and tree house on the property were set on fire. Those structures were also a total loss.
The RCMP continues to investigate leads in both cases, and is asking for information from the public that could help identify the person or people responsible.
