RCMP Investigating Suspicious Fire in Petitcodiac

The RCMP is seeking information from the public in connection with a suspicious fire that damaged a home in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick.

Police and firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire on Connor Street on Wednesday, August 24, at approximately 9:30 p.m. The fire is believed to have started at the rear of the home, and was quickly contained.

The investigation has led police to believe the fire is suspicious in nature, according to Corporal Valerie Cyr of the Riverview Detachment

Anyone with information, or who may have seen someone around the home prior to the fire is asked to contact the Riverview RCMP at 506-387-2222.
