RCMP Investigating Armed Robbery at Moncton Fast Food Restaurant

The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating an armed robbery Saturday night at a Subway Restaurant in downtown Moncton.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., a lone man entered the store on Main Street West carrying a weapon and demanded cash, according to Sgt. Mario Fortin. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

The man is described as about 6' tall, with a slim build and spoke English. He was dressed all in black, wore a hat and had a scarf around his neck, Sgt. Fortin said.
